Hi, I’m Shami Benjamin!
After the completion of my college soccer career at SJSU, I felt called to lead/influence the next generation through coaching. After over 10 years of successfully managing teams and positively impacting personal/professional productivity, I sought to deepen my understanding and fix my mind on learning from highly esteemed mental performance professionals as well as drawing from my own experiences. I have been honored to win professional positions which grant platforms as a specialist. These include competent, ethical and effective evidence-based mental performance and mental health interventions to a diverse variety of individuals who perform/work in high level environments.
Now as a former athlete and entrepreneur and having gone through my own healing journey, I understand the grit, the process, growth mindset, winning moments, setbacks, anxiety, mental toughness, personal struggles and their impact on wellness and satisfaction.
I specialize in working with high-performing athletes from college, affiliate and MLB baseball. I also work with football/NFL, pro soccer, golf, tennis, track, volleyball, and basketball. Many of my clients are c-level executives, professionals in the entertainment industry and leaders across industries.
I am based in San Diego, California and coach many across the globe.
